How many times have I looked through Pinterest’s Wedding Category… to the point that I’ve come to memorize most of the images that’s repeatedly pinned and posted.

I find this cake topper design simple yet charming and doable hahaha! Being on the creative side I convinced my then fiance to do just that. A Do-It-Yourself cake topper. I am appreciative of him because well, he did most of the work and I watched 🙂
We used an illustration board as a material but realized that it is too thin to stand on its own so we doubled and pasted it back to back, and put on a little wire inside just to be sure. Then we painted it gold and add lots of glitters too.
Come wedding day, I think it is mostly me and my husband who noticed it but then its the process of doing it is what’s worth it.

Tap the creatives in you,
One thing that I am really excited about last week was getting our wedding invitation. Our theme is romantic vintage so as to keep in line with the ambiance of our reception venue which is Kapitan Moy.
Our supplier is Quirky Dots which is owned by my childhood friend. They do all things crafty like cake toppers, menu cards (for K by Cunanan) and invitations to name a few. They are very good in their craft and I can prove that because I am so impressed with our invites.
Here’s a photo of our actual invite. We just asked them to give us 2 invites that weren’t sealed for our keeps. My fiance specifically requests for the wax seal (which is quite pricey but I think is worth it). It adds a uniqueness to the invites. We made the wordings Tagalog, which adds charm to it and tried to veer away from the usual map that most invites do have now. The thing is we want to stress that our Church and venue is a just a few steps away from each other (Isang tawid lang!).
This is my favorite part. The sketched map and continuation of the paragraph to the next page.
If you are interested to book them: mention that you’d known them thru my blog 🙂

I remember seeing this in the movie A walk to Remember, its definition of love is beautiful 🙂
Happy hearts day everyone, may it be a special or ordinary day to you, I wish you’re well and happy.
In one of my posts, I’ve shared a link wherein Hollywood celebrities are presented as DISNEY princesses
and it is awesome. Now, I’ve come across yet another fantastic portrayal of our favorite characters.
Visit the link here:

POCAHONTAS has always been my favorite Disney princess (I have to say this as I am not that fond of the story). I like her image of being native, strong and nature lover. Everything about her speaks of simplicity…
She does have this FAMILY vs. LOVE angle, which many of us in real life encounters. Also, the animals here are very likeable, though at first he is a villain, Percy the Pug really catches my attention (as mentioned in my other entries, I am a Pug lover :)).
I’ve gathered a few versions of POCAHONTAS as portrayed by different artist. Some of them goes traditional, while others have gone to the extremes… Check it out and be engaged to the colors of POCAHONTAS!

This is a very touching advertisement from UNICEF 😦
As I mentioned somewhere here in my blog, the first program I’ve learned in the Adobe line-up was the Illustrator. Vector and its wonders amazes me, of what you can do and still get that image quality. I learned editing just by watching on youtube… Those tutorials are very helpful. Reading is good but hands on is the thing to do If you really want to get the hand of it. Practice, practice, practice!!!
I created / customized a website for my works. It is a portfolio but still on its humble beginning.
To give you a glimpse, these are my works way back JUNE 2012
All FA are created using Adobe Illustrator CS6
This just in!
