Our BusinessCoach, Inc. Seminar Experience

What it feels like to be your own boss?

Having your own business seems to have many perks. The title of being a CEO? Your own time, good standing in terms of VISA applications and many others. But of course, you need to invest in effort and money and again, many others.

My sister and I have always been on this dream state of owning our own business. There are many ideas of what business to pursue but a pre-school / day care center makes the most sense since my sister is a teacher and she has a masteral degree which is a requirement to be a principal of a school and… Well, me to be more on the administrative, marketing and creatives side. The combination seems great.

And so, aside from research thru blogs, business books and asking friends who are pre-school owners, we decided to take it to the next level by attending a seminar with a professional speaker and there enters – BusinessCoach, Inc.

The company is a provider of quality business seminars which would enhance skills and contribute to entrepreneurial or career success. It is committed to keep abreast with the latest advances in the business, and focused on the strategic aspects of how to build and maintain a viable and profitable business.

We attended the How to start and manage a pre-school or day center seminar.

We simply called their office to register, paid at BDO and send the deposit slip via email. Then comes their confirmation text and we’re set the next day.

The seminar is a whole day affair at 9-4pm, snacks and lunch are provided. The seminar room is comfortable. A typical seminar arrangement of handouts, slides presentation, group activity and question and answer, and to cap it all off – the class picture.

Our resource speaker, Mrs. Hovertalina Julieta P. Camba, MAED is very good. She came in well prepared with all the possible sample documents that she can provide us, a checklist for the DepEd requirements, samples of curriculum, sample tuition computations and other helpful materials. The discussion is very thorough from start to finish.

The majority of participants are educators who wants to put up their own school, and some are business partners like me whose there for support😊.

Anyway, comes the end we received our certification, gained some friends and somewhat sinks into information overload. I highly recommend this seminar and is very interested to attend all their other ones. The time spent and knowledge gained in the seminar is an investment already.

Congenital Anomaly Scan at In My Womb Megamall

After reading other blogs and pregnancy articles to see what CAS (Congenital Anomaly Scan) is all about, it made me quite anxious and nervous as there’s the question of “what if something’s wrong?” But then just as about everything in life offers, we need to be prepared come what may…

What is CAS?

Congenital Anomaly Scan or CAS is a more detailed scan which is often done from 18-24th week of pregnancy to check if the baby is developing normally. This ultrasound takes a closer look at your baby’s every part of the body and also the sonologist look at where the placenta is lying in your uterus.

Prior to deciding if I’ll do the procedure, I did my research and asked my OB GYNE If I should get one, she told me that since I am not over 35 and is a low risk, meaning I do not have any underlying pregnancy issues that It’s totally up to me and she does not require me. But then being quite paranoid as a first time mom, I decided to go ahead and get one for two things: peace of mind and I want to see my baby thoroughly.

I decided to have my CAS in In My Womb (Megamall branch) due to promixity. The appointment thru text was a breeze and so come June 27 at 10:30am I was all set.

I am exactly at 24 weeks and 4 days during my CAS procedure. They asked me to fill up some form and waiver, and asked for a referral slip from my OB, then we proceeded to start…

The ultrasound room and viewing room for your companions are separated but not. Imagine that of an interrogation room in a police station without glass😊 sorry, that’s the only comparison I have in mind.  Anyway, there’s a huge flat screen TV that reflects what is shown in the ultrasound monitor for everyone to see. I was not able to take pictures because: 1. No photo or video allowed inside the procedure room. 2. I am nervous.

The procedure lasted for about 25 minutes, that’s a whole lot of exposure for the baby! Good thing he was active even though I was not able to drink orange juice per their prep notice but still our baby is kinda shy to give us a long time to peek of HIS THING… He’s quite bored or sleepy I guess.

And going back to his thing… YES! HE is a wonderful BABY BOY!!! I finally have a little Eloy of my own❤️❤️❤️

The results are in: Everythig is fine and normal. Thank you God!

All data encoded are printed right after the procedure and will be given to you together with atleast 5 pictures. We only availed the 2D CAS because as per research, 2D’s see the organs much better but It was definitely a happy moment that we are able to see his face in 3D as the doctor showed it to us to get a clearer view that he has an intact facial features (no cleft palate etc.) We paid Php 3,000 for the 2D CAS.
